The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

Once known as "Woolly Bear" during Daily Collegian sportswriting days, Bob Dixon is still in the newspaper game (yes, they still exist), having put in 29 years with The Record (Hackensack, NJ) after stints with the Daily Record (Morristown, NJ) and Trenton Times. But I've gone from sports to features to news desk and back to features. Married almost 14 years now to Virginia Rohan, our TV-turned-baby boomer columnist, we have 4 sons between us, an almost 3-year old granddaughter Keira, and a third-generation Penn State man on the way by way of son Bobby (class of 2000) and his wife Angela (2001). Besides being Penn State fans, other sons Jason and wife Rosaleen (Keira's parents), Matt and girlfriend Sunshine, and Chris -- we're all big Yankees fans. We get back to State College once in awhile for football, Spikes baseball and memories, saw Lions win the Kickoff Classic and play in the NIT. Got together with old Collegian pal Dan Donovan out in Pittsburgh while on baseball trip with 3 boys. Dan and I had some great trips during PSU days ... but we won't get into the one to Ocean City, Md. Peace, Dix
